St. Philip's Episcopal Church has a great tradition of music, with a unique blend of Anglican and African-American styles, such as Gospel, Jazz, and Spirituals. Calling upon the influences of all of these styles, we will present our own rendition of the Oldest Song in the World. In addition, we will also present a small concert of spirituals, featuring singers from the St. Philip's Choir, as well as our drum ensemble. Join us as we lift our voices to give thanks, praise, and adoration. Program will be led by Walker Jackson, vocal coach.
